Learning outcomes
The course covers the homeostatic control and the consequences of its loss at the organism level.
The Physiology module will deal with the homeostatic mechanisms involved in the operation of vital functions. Specifically it will provide insights into circulatory and renal functions and their regulation by the brain and the endocrine system.
The Pathology module will cover the pathophysiology of altered homeostatic control at the body level. Specifically, it will provide insights into the pathophysiology of major pathologies of circulatory, renal and endocrine systems and their medical terminology.
