Learning outcomes

: The aim of the course is that to furnish the necessary general concepts of the Medicinal Chemistry to the student to understand the processes of drug design and development, as well as the structure-activity relationships and the influence of physicochemical properties of a drug on the pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and toxicologic processes. In particular, the course is aimed at furnishing knowledges about the structure, the structure-activity relationships, the mechanism of action and toxicology of some classes of drugs. Finally, for some of these drugs this course provide synthetic methodologies reported for their industrial preparation
