The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main categories of cosmetic products and on the raw materials of natural and synthetic origin used for their preparation. An exhaustive overview of the basic and functional ingredients currently available for the formulation of the main cosmetic forms will be made, giving indications on the criteria for choosing among the products on the market. Furthermore, the regulatory aspects governing the production and marketing of the cosmetic product will be addressed. The course will include a theoretical lesson and laboratory practice in which the most representative cosmetic formulations will be set up.
