Students will learn the principles of normal cell functions, with particular focus on cellular membrane properties, mechanisms of cellular transport (ionic channels, active and passibe transport) and electrical properties originating from the selective permeability of cellular membranes. In addition, we will examine the functional properties of organs and systems, together witth their functional interactions to establish the normal function of the human body.
