Learning outcomes

FIRST PART
Learning basic knowledge of good nutrition, particularly to know food consumption and its influence on human health. To know how to measure body composition and energy expenditure.
SECOND PART
The course aims to provide students with knowledge about neural and chemical signals involved in the control of feeding, the rationale behind the estimate of body mass composition and its pitfalls, and the physiology of exercise, pregnancy, lactation, childhood, aging.
