Learning outcomes

Knowledge : to provide specific knowledge on international, European and national regulations in the wine sector. After a classification of the sources of international, European Union and national law, the course analyzes the discipline concerning the phases of production and marketing of wine, in particular with reference to the winery, to the rules of the single CMO related to wine, to wine roads and districts, to wine tourism, to labeling and to protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications.
Competences: At the end of the course the student will have acquired the fundamental legal notions on the sources of law and on the main institutes related to the vitivinicultural legislation of the European Union and national. In addition, the student will be able to independently perform the updating and deepening of knowledge on the topics addressed during the lessons.
Skills: At the end of the course the student will first acquire the ability to find, read and understand a normative text in a multilevel system and in continuous evolution as the one that regulates the wine sector.
