The course has the general objective of providing the technological bases of the formulations of health products and the good manufacturing practices of the same. The student will be provided with the tools to understand and apply the fundamental principles and techniques associated with the laboratory and industrial manufacture, even applying the knowledge to solve specific problems of formulation, of health products. The herbal formulations are rarely drug alone, generally they require additives to make them into forms suitable to application. The concepts of formulation will be defined in the course, offering specific practical criteria, for the preparation of liquid and solid formulations for internal and external use.
