Learning outcomes

The course deals with the following topics:
- Skeletal biology (skeletal anatomy and its ontogenetic, sexual and population variation, sex and age diagnosis, body size and shape reconstruction, analysis of biological stress indicators).
- Molecular anthropology (extraction and determination of the uniparental and nuclear DNA markers in present-day and ancient populations, in order to reconstruct their evolutionary history).
