The subject of this teaching are fundamental aspects of catalysis by inorganic systems.
The course will describe the principles for the understanding of heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis. The main classes of catalysts will be reviewed, showing the properties as a function of the main features of the reactions. The course will highlight a number of industrial processes and show possible relevant problems, and how they have been solved.
