Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge of monitoring activities carried out by vascular plants and lichens in order to assess the presence and effects of airborne pollutants (e.g., ozone, fluoride, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, heavy metals). Special attention will be paid to the related national and EU regulations, as well as to the environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment.
