Learning outcomes
Solid knowledge of the main principles of the industrial chemical processes, of the choice and of the control of process parameters and of the main issues related to them, with special attention to industrial chemical inorganic processes, taking into account all the process steps. Principles, applications and future perspectives regarding catalysis in industrial chemistry. Guidelines for scale-up of the industrial chemical processes, the choice of the type of the process, of the feedstock, of the type of the reactor, of the reaction conditions, on the basis of thermodynamic, kinetic and technological aspects, economic factors, safety issues and pollution problems.
