Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide tools and basic methods for encoding texts in the humanities. The encoding is intended to preserve the documents in a portable format and not subject to obsolescence, and allow subsequent automatic processing of the texts themselves. For these reasons it is closely related to disciplines such as digital libraries, electronic publishing and digital philology.
