The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge about the main microbial groups fundamental for plant growth and nutrition in agroecosystems. In particular, the course will focus on systematic and functional aspects of microorganisms of the soil/plant system (bacteria and fungi) and on the different experimental methods for their analysis.
