The course treats and presents the fundamental principles and concepts of internal (industrial) logistics and supply chain management. In particular, in terms of:
a. internal logistics management, the course provides a comprehensive coverage of the concepts, tools, and methods used to manage and control manufacturing systems;
b. Supply Chain Management, the goal of the course is to present to the students the strategic role of the supply chain, the key strategic drivers of supply chain performance, and the tools and techniques for supply chain analysis.
