The goal of the course is to provide analytical and practical tools to be able to model processes in industrial manufacturing, communication and information systems, logistic and traffic systems as event-driven systems; to make the students capable to use simulative tools for such processes; to make the students capable to design appropriate architectures to optimize the performance of such systems.
