Learning outcomes

The course illustrates the major characteristics of the protected crop sector and analyses in detail aspects relating to the effect of environmental parameters on the growth and ecophysiological behaviour of major vegetables and floriculture species. Production aspects of the different crops will be addressed in terms of rational production programming from a space-time viewpoint with respect to the efficiency of the resources used in the production process.
