Learning outcomes

Provide basic knowledge for the correct design, arrangement and implementation of experimental trials in agricultural sciences (to understand and manage the causes of data variability, with reference to both experimental error and factors; to define correctly an experimental design and implement treatment randomization; to define a correct sampling protocol for data collection); organize sampling appropriately by defining the optimal number of experimental units; appropriately choose the statistical test for processing the collected data; build statistical models to adapt to experimental designs; interpret the observed phenomenon and extend it to the entire population.
