The course describes the main product and process innovations that have been introduced in recent years in the ornamental nursery sector. Emphasis will be given to the description of open field, protected and containerized cultivation techniques that could increase the water and nutrients use efficiency, minimise the use of herbicides and contribute to the sustainability and quality of ornamental crops.
