The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to understand the basic processes and mechanisms which make political communication work; and will acquire the technics and the instruments of the communication in relation with media and political systems in democratic contexts. S(He) will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of how to make empirical research on the topics related with political communication; and will be aware of the various methodologies that can be applied for different types of research. Finally, this student will acquire the basic elements for an effective communication production in public and political contexts.
