Learning outcomes

The course is focused on the articulation among advanced social psychology political and community psychology. The student will be able to acquire a framework of knowledge and skills enhancing the social worker profession. In particular a set of specific skills will be acquired focusing on the "reading" of attitudes, ideological orientations and values social frames related to the socio-political system ("social dominance", identities, conflicts and inequalities between groups). This competency framework will be enriched alongside a community psychology perspective, trough the interventions design, develop and evaluations devoted to the promotion of psychosocial well-being in institutional households. The mainstream of Empowerment perspective on people, contexts and social resources will be framed within the applying concepts of implementation with the whole frame of the social policies.
