Students that will successfully attend the course will acquire knowledge on the main approaches on gender studies. Through the gender perspective, it is possible to analyse the social processes of construction of differences and inequalities by analyzing the implications in terms of social organization, obligations and expectations, and considering, in particular, the effect of this construction in science.
