The course focuses on the study and analysis of Anglophone poetic, narrative and dramatic texts. The historical-cultural contextualization of literary works will be accompanied by an extensive discussion of the theoretical and methodological tools employed for their analysis. The course aims at widening the student’s knowledge of the history of Anglophone literatures together with the acquisition of a sound competence in the analysis of the literary text in its different components.
