Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological tools for the comparative study of the political and policy processes set by liberal democracies to pursue models of sustainable development. Through a comparative perspective, particular attention will be paid to the changes occurred at the level of: law-making processes; institution-building; the dynamics of political competition on sustainability issues; the main policy outcomes formulated at the national and sub-national level.
