The course will analyze the international rules covering a particularly relevant sector of international relations, that is migration. The student will receive the notions which are indispensable to critically evaluate – having regard to human rights and to democratic principles – the role played by some international organisations (UN, IOM, Council of Europe, EU) and the choices made by States of destination, transit and origin of migrants.
