Learning outcomes

The course Collective Choices and Public Ethics provides an introduction to the public use of reason to define and evaluate collective choices. The first part of the course is devoted to normative models and meta-ethical issues; the second part is devoted to the analysis and discussion of specific public issues regarding the relationship between ethics, politics and law, such as theories of justice, cybernetic citizenship and governance of emerging technologies.
