Learning outcomes
This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills needed to understand and develop the production process of a mechanical component within an industrial environment, starting from the information present in the mechanical drawing. For this purpose, the student will learn concepts related to reversible and irreversible joining techniques as well as machining.
The main objective of the course is to allow students to develop the ability to manage a machining cycle of a mechanical component that is technologically correct and that goes through all the stages necessary for its production. The identification of the flow of operations necessary for the manufacture of the component will be introduced through the study of the tooling needed to manufacture the component on the machine.
