The course aims to illustrate and discuss the
theoretical frameworks and approaches that
describe the practices and processes of social
innovation and social change.
By the end of the course, students will be able to: 1.
Make full use of sociological approaches to analyse
the dimension and the processes of social change;
2. Critically discuss the social innovation as
rhetoric of institutional legitimation; 3. Observe and
critically analyse the institutionalization process of
social innovation as institutional practice.
