Regional geography: economic processes and sustainability

Learning outcomes

Students will gain knowledge and methods of analysis related to the concept of regionalization and territorial economic processes.
In addition, they will gain knowledge of the main public policies of regional convergence on the model of European Community integration, in order to investigate, in a historical-geographical perspective, the new models of geopolitical regionalization.
'Bottom-up' participatory methods will be obtained, with particular reference to economic paradigms and models responding to sustainability, social inclusion and the circularity of the economy.
Finally, students will have to demonstrate that they have acquired knowledge and skills in the assessment of territorial impacts caused by tourist pressure.
