Learning outcomes

The course aims to analyse the role that public authorities (like States, the EU and international institutions) play in the global economy. The course will provide students with the necessary knowledge and methodology to understand the fundamental features of the economic constitution; the main theories on the State’s intervention in the economy; and the relations amongst public authorities (national and international) and markets. It will also highlight the imbalances of global regulations that become progressively more complex as well as identify new equilibrium between economic freedom ands social values.
