The course will give the student advanced knowledge about the innovative agro-industrial livestock farming systems. In the course will be taught techniques and methodologies useful in limiting the environmental impact of the livestock farming systems, in increasing the animal welfare, in limiting the use of antibiotics and able in providing high nutritional and nutraceutical products. The practical part of the course will be done by means of lessons taught in farms.
