The course describes the main production characteristics of open field and protected cultivation of horticultural crops. Special attention will be paid on the product and process innovations that have been introduced in the sector in last years. Particular attention will be put to the description of the cultivation and plant growing techniques that allow to increase the sustainability and quality of horticultural productions.
