·To apply the fundamental design analysis methods.
· To be knowledgeable about the materials behaviour (fatigue, basic fracture mechanics, etc.).
·To be able:
- at developing simple models, starting from reality;
- to use both simple analytical and computer aided methods;
- to do a simple practical design job.
