The aim of the Course is provide tools to read and interpret social reality through demographic data as
phenomena such as fertility, mortality, ageing, but also morbidity -as the recent pandemic has showndetermine
and explain population’s basic condition. The Course also intends to highlight how it is
essential to know the demographic “behavior” for the purpose of an appropriate management and
planning of social services.
