The Course gives the students the chance to critically consider the Third Sector, in the perspective to
work in or with Third Sector Organizations. On the basis of a sociological interpretation of the
phenomenon, the Course provide the students with the theoretical and methodological instruments to
(a) understand the emergence, consolidation and transformation of the Third Sector in Italy and Europe;
(b) analyze the characteristics, opportunities and risks of the Third Sector Organizations.
