Learning outcomes

The course focuses on the study of the discipline of the employment relationship through the study of the discipline of the private worker and of the public worker. The framing of the essential legal notions and institutions of general labour law will be regularly integrated with a focus on the peculiarity of labour relations within health structures and social services. The main tool through which students' knowledge will be developed will be the constant comparison with case-law and doctrine on the subject. The course aims at providing the necessary cognitive tools of the sources of the discipline and an appropriate methodological guide to be able to deal with the case studies. The ability will be developed through constant comparison in class by dedicating at least part of the time to discussion and debate on the issues addressed. At the end of the course the student will tend to be able to identify, select and understand the content of the main sources of study and knowledge of the subject: doctrine, case-law and collective bargaining.
