Conoscenza delle fonti scritte medievali prodotte in Europa relativamente alle forme, ai modi, ai luoghi di produzione e di conservazione e al linguaggio; conoscenza delle principali collezioni di edizioni di fonti medievale cartacee ed elettroniche; nozioni di base sulle problematiche connesse all'edizione digitale delle fonti scritte.
Focus sulle fonti della Lunigiana e la sua storia.
Knowledge of medieval European written sources looking at typology, methods, places of production, conservation and language; knowledge of the main repertoires of the sources of medieval history; basic notions on the problems connected to the digital edition of written sources.
Focus on the soirces of Lunigiana region and its history.

Il corso alternerà lezioni teoriche con incontri pratici in cui gli studenti saranno tenuti ad analizzare le fonti e a presentare le ricerche fatte in autonomia. Si avvierà una collaborazione con il corso di Diplomatica.
The course will alternate theoretical lessons with practical ones in which students will be required to analyze the sources and present their researches. We will collaborate qith the course of diplomatic.

Il contenuto del volume sarà ampiamente illustrato nelle lezioni e sulla piattaforma moodle del corso verranno resi disponibili altri testi di corredo e strumenti utili per le ricerche individuali.

Book's contentwill be amply illustrated during the lessons; in the moodle platform of the course other texts and useful tools for individual and group work will be made available.
Le lezioni solo teoriche verranno registrate. Gli studenti non frequentanti dovranno fare un esame scritto od orale (a scelta), schedare tre fonti e preparare una relazione su una collezione di fonti o su un codice da concordare.
Only theoretical lessons will be recorded. Non-attending students will have to take a written or oral exam (their choice), wite a paper about three sources and prepare a report on a collection of sources or on a code to be agreed.
Lo studente / la studentessa dovrà:
- partecpare a tre prove in itinere
- provare a trovare, datare e leggere una fonte
The student will have to:
- participate to three ongoing tests
- try to find, date, read ad commentate a source
