Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Italian Constitution and in particular fundamental principles, rights and duties of citizens. He or she will be able to look critically at traditional issues of the right to express freely (freedom of speech, freedom of the press, etc.) in today’s world
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology and his/her ability to discuss a case study

Syllabus
The main subject of the course is the constitutional and legislative framework of the right to express freely. The course will focus on the press, rules about printed publications and public performances, journalism in modern society, TV and internet regulation, antitrust issues, copyright
