Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of logical, principles, dynamics, and the tools of science business economics with reference to the instruments of general accounting, budget system, cost accounting, to the logic of the control and budgeting, planning and quality control and corporate strategies with regard to some case studies.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
Students will be assessed on their demonstrated ability to dsucss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the oral or written exam students must be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. Students must also demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute with critical awareness the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the professor during the course.

Syllabus
The course aims to analyze the elements, principles and tools of business economics and management. In particular, the course explores the origins of General Business Economics and management studies, with particular reference to the concepts and principles enunciated by the national and international doctrine, and then focus its attention on the business phenomenology as "open and dynamic system" , with particular attention to the elements that compose it, and the organizational, management and informative specificities. With reference to the business phenomenon, the course aims to introduce and deepen the main management tools. During the course will be made some insights about business cases with particular reference to the tourism sector and the Tuscan and Italian productive sector.
