Conoscenze

Obiettivi formativi e contenuti:

Knowledge

The student who successfully completes the course will will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the agricultural management and post-harvest treatments of non-food crops for industrial and energetic uses. He/she will be able to describe the range of the crops, other than food or feed, suitable for the different industrial application, the raw materials characteristics and the downstream processing for the different markets; he/she will be able to apply the knowledge of the production requirements, agronomy, harvest and handling and end-product requirement in order to plan and to manage a supply chain of high value. He/she will be aware of the sustainability criteria, regulation and challenges of the different production chains.

Assessment criteria of knowledge

Methods:

  • Final oral exam

dimostrare una solida conoscenza delle colture a destinazione non alimentare per la produzione di energia, biomateriali e prodotti biobased;

delinere dal punto di vista tecnico-scientifico le principali filiere produttive,dalla produzione agricola della materia prima al prodotto finito;

  • Lo studente dovrà preparare e presentare un report su un argomento da concordare con il docente che dimostri capacità di raccogliere ed alaborare informazioni scientifiche in modo approfonditò e criticamente;
Comportamenti
