Pop Cultures, Counterculture and Rock Music (1950-1975) The student who completes the course successfully will be able to analyse and discuss the main social and cultural changes related to the youth cultures in post-Second World War Western societies.

The course discusses the cultural and social meaning of the rock music as an identity discourse for the young generations in the period 1950-1975.
