MODULO DI DERMATOLOGIA
Infectivology, Parasitology and Clinical Microbiology The student will demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main diagnostic procedures and clinical aspects for human infections and diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites. Dermatology and Venereology Learning outcomes The student who completes the course successfully will demonstrate a solid knowledge of the clinical and diagnostic procedures for skin and venereal diseases (inflammatory, neoplastic, infective). He or she will acquire knowledge of the pathogenetic mechanisms of the skin and venereal diseases and the principles of their management. Lastly, he or she will be aware of modern approaches of laboratory diagnosis of skin and venereal diseases that rely on conventional office based procedures and molecular and biotechnological approaches. He or she will also acquire knowledge on the fundamentals of the non invasive diagnostic tests on skin samples able to explore organ functionality.
Per i moduli di Malattie Infettive, di Parassitologia, di Microbiologia Clinica e di Dermatologia la prova è tramite quiz ed esame orale.
The student will be assessed, by an oral exam, on his/her ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the exam, the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course issues and be able to present and discuss correctly the main diagnostic procedures presented during the course. The student must demonstrate the ability to discuss, with critical awareness, issues relative to infectivology and parasitology, clinical microbiology, skin and venereal diseases. The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical awareness, the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course.
