Obiettivo del corso è offrire agli studenti una conoscenza delle basi teoriche e delle tematiche più attuali dell’economia dei trasporti, in modo da fornire gli elementi critici per la comprensione della complessa relazione esistente fra settore turistico e trasporti.
The aim of this course is to teach students the theoretical foundations and the most current issues of the transport economy. The objective is to provide the critical elements for understanding the complex relationship between the tourism sector and transport.
Lezioni tradizionali integrate settimanalmente da esercitazioni ed approfondimenti riguardanti casi concreti. Queste ultime prevedono una maggiore interazione degli studenti in forma di lavori di gruppo e presentazioni.
Durante il corso verranno evidenziate le tematiche più strettamente connesse alla domanda di turismo e a come questa sia influenzata dal sistema dei trasporti e della mobilità.
Tra gli altri, durante il corso, verranno affrontati i seguenti temi:
- L’inquadramento generale del settore dei trasporti
- La relazione fra trasporti e turismo
- Reti e flussi di trasporto
- La domanda di trasporto
- Tendenze attuali e future su: trasporto urbano, trasporto terrestre, trasporto aereo e trasporto marittimo
- Mobilità sostenibile
During the course, teachers will highlight the themes connected to the demand for tourism and how this is influenced by the transport and mobility system.
Among others, the following topics will be addressed during the course:
- The general framework of the transport sector
- The relationship between transport and tourism
- Transport networks and flows
- The demand for transport
- Current and future trends on: urban transport, land transport, air transport and maritime transport
- Sustainable mobility

Per coloro che supereranno il tetto massimo di assenze consentito la valutazione sarà basata esclusivamente sull’esame finale.
For those who exceed the maximum number of absences, the assessment will be based exclusively on the final exam.
La valutazione dello studente sarà effettuata sulla seguente base: 40% Esercitazioni; 60% Esame.
- Esercitazioni: durante il corso verranno assegnati uno (o più) temi / esercizi sui quali gli alunni, opportunamente organizzati in gruppi, lavoreranno.
- Esame: L’esame finale sarà costituito da una prova scritta che potrà essere integrata integrata da colloquio orale.
Per coloro che supereranno il tetto massimo di assenze consentito la valutazione sarà basata esclusivamente sull’esame finale.
The student's evaluation will be carried out on the following basis: 40% Exercises; 60% Exam.
