Attraverso l’analisi di alcuni testi rappresentativi gli studenti acquisiranno gli strumenti storico-letterari e metodologici di base per un approccio ai diversi aspetti della poesia francese dell’Ottocento.
Through the analysis of some representative texts, students will acquire the basic historical-literary and methodological tools for an approach to the different aspects of the French poetry in Nineteenth century.
Una relazione orale (durante le ultime lezioni del corso).
Una relazione scritta e un colloquio finale in sede di esame.
An oral report (during the last lessons of the course).
A written report and an oral interview as exam.

Si dovrà dimostrare di sapere analizzare in maniera critica il testo poetico da un lato collocandolo nel suo contesto storico e dall'altro tenendo conto dei suoi aspetti formali e semantici.
It will be necessary to demonstrate to be able to critically analyze the poetic text on one hand, placing it in its historical context and, on the other, taking into account its formal and semantic aspects.
Saranno acquisite opportune capacità di accuratezza e precisione nello svolgere attività di confronto e analisi del testo poetico.
Students will acquire appropriate skills of accuracy and precision in carrying out activities of comparison and analysis of the poetic texts.
Durante le attività seminariali il docente valuterà la capacità degli studenti di partecipare alla discussione esprimendo un punto di vista personale, di discutere le opinioni espresse dagli altri ed eventualmente di dissentirne in modo rispettoso.
The students' skills to contribute to the discussion in supporting a critical position, as well as their capacity to debate and respectfully disagree with the teachers and other students, will be tested during the seminar activity.
Agli studenti è richiesta una sufficiente conoscenza nell'ambito della letteratura francese, nonché una competenza della lingua francese adeguata per seguire le lezioni, discutere degli argomenti trattati, svolgere una presentazione orale e scrivere una relazione scritta.
Students are expected to posse a sufficient knowledge in French literature, as well as an adequate level of French to be able to follow lectures, discuss literary topics, make an oral presentation, and write an essay in French.
Durante il corso si alterneranno lezioni di tipo frontale all’attività seminariale; l’ultima parte del corso sarà dedicata alla discussione degli argomenti delle relazioni.

Teaching will alternate frontal lessons with seminary activities ; the last part of the semester will be devoted to oral reports.

Lo studente dovrà scegliere due raccolte di poesie tra quelle in programma (più le relative letture critiche obbligatorie); per ogni raccolta 10 poesie a scelta da presentare secondo gli approcci metodologici sviluppati durante il corso.

Non viene consigliata nessuna edizione in particolare: l'importante è che i testi vengano letti in versione integrale e in francese.

selecting 10 poems from each collection to be presented using the methodological tools developed during the course.

Previo accordo con la docente, lo studente è tenuto a esporre in classe (in francese) una relazione su argomenti attinenti al programma. Dieci giorni prima dell’esame orale lo studente deve presentare per iscritto (in francese) e indicare i testi che intende portare all’esame.
Upon agreement with the teacher, the student is required to present (in French) a report on topics related to the syllabus. Ten days before the oral examination the student has to present his written report r (in French) and to indicate the selected texts for the exam.
