Lo studente apprenderà i rudimenti di fisiologia e fisiopatologia cardiovascolare e sulla gestione del paziente affetto dalle principali cardiopatie nonché il ruolo dei principali fattori di rischio cardiovascolare.
The student will learn the basics of cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology as well as the management of cardiac patients. The pathologic role of major cardiovascular risk factors will be also discussed.

Programme of the course
1) basics of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
2) cardiac imaging, electrocardiography and stress tests
3) major cardiac pathologies including ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease arrhythmic pathologies and cardiomyopathies
