MODULO MANAGEMENT CULTURALE
Il corso si propone di fornire agli studenti adeguate conoscenze, riferimenti e strumenti per la gestione di progetti di sviluppo turistico a base culturale. Particolare attenzione viene portata agli indirizzi delle agenzie internazionali, tra cui UNWTO, UNESCO e all'Agenda 2030 delle Nazioni Unite.
Inoltre, il corso intende fornire una panoramica di programmi, progetti e buone pratiche a livello europeo, con particolare riguardo al programma Horizon Europe per la ricerca e l'innovazione. Progetti sul tema del turismo culturale, finanziati nell'ambito del programma Horizon 2020, saranno oggetto di casi di studio.
MODULO GESTIONE E VALORIZZAZIONE DEI BBCC
Al termine del corso lo studente avrà acquisito conoscenze relative delle problematiche legate alla gestione e valorizzazione dei beni culturali, con specifica attenzione al patrimonio artistico e museale.
CULTURAL MANAGEMENT MODULE
The course aims to provide students with adequate knowledge, references and tools for managing cultural-based tourism development projects. Particular attention is paid to the addresses of international agencies, including UNWTO, UNESCO and the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
Furthermore, the course aims to provide an overview of programmes, projects and good practice at European level, with particular regard to Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Projects about cultural tourism, funded in the frame of Horizon 2020 programme will be used as case study.
BBCC MANAGEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT MODULE
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the issues related to the management and enhancement of cultural heritage, with specific attention to the artistic and museum heritage.
MANAGEMENT AND POLICY MODULE
The aim of this course is to offer a learning experience which integrates the theoretical knowledge and practical competences acquired by the students during the first three semester of the program, complemented by teaching inputs of the professors and additional readings. Working in groups on specific projects, students with the professors as coaches, will engage in problem solving exercises and develop skills useful in a future employment in the tourism industry.
A collateral learning outcome regards language skills, given that teaching, presentations and discussion will be in English.

Al termine del corso lo studente avrà acquisito familiarità con le metodologie prevalenti di gestione di progetti (Project Cycle Management) in ambito culturale.
Lo studente avrà anche sperimentato le modalità di partecipazione alla progettazione in ambito comunitario.

At the end of the course the student will have become familiar with the prevalent methodologies of project management (Project Cycle Management) in the cultural field.
The student will experiment as well the modalities of participation in the European programmes.

At the end of the course the students will have acquired soft skills related to the management and enhancement of cultural heritage

The course is distributed over 4 times two days, subdivided in teaching, guided and supervised group work, presentation and discussion
MODULO MANAGEMENT CULTURALE
Le attività sono articolate su lezioni sui temi della progettazione e gestione di progetti culturali nel settore turistico; sugli indirizzi prevalenti delle Agenzie internazionali (UNESCO, UNWTO); sugli obiettivi di sostenibilità dell'Agenda 2030 e sull'analisi di buone pratiche internazionali. Le lezioni sono intervallate da momenti di esercitazione per la predisposizione di un progetto e di discussione collettiva.
MODULO GESTIONE E VALORIZZAZIONE DEI BBCC
Il modulo intende avviare la comprensione del sistema dei beni culturali in Italia, mettendo a fuoco il rapporto complesso fra società dell’informazione e cultura. Nelle lezioni verranno presentati casi di studio nei quali verrà privilegiato, alla luce della storia della tutela e della conoscenza del Codice dei Beni Culturali, il ruolo delle istituzioni museali e dei monumenti all’interno delle nostre città e nelle politiche e strategie dei sistemi turistici contemporanei
CULTURAL MANAGEMENT MODULE
The activities are divided into lessons on the themes of planning and management of cultural projects in the tourism sector; on the prevailing addresses of international agencies (UNESCO, UNWTO); on the sustainability objectives of the 2030 Agenda and on the analysis of international good practices. The lessons are interspersed with moments of practice for the preparation of a project and collective discussion.

MANAGEMENT AND POLICY MODULE
The general theme of the course is the promotion of sustainable development of a destination in view of the wellbeing of tourism workers, residents and tourists in different economic, social and cultural contexts.
Guided by the teachers, students will have to develop a strategy to promoting decent work and environmental sustainability in different destinations of the Lucca province, solving the following tasks:

The assessment of knowledge will consist of 5 evaluations, one for each of the four intermediate presentations of the group work, and one for the final presentation. Grades will combine group performance and individual participation during work and discussions
