The student will acquire the ability to use and evaluate correctly Italian language text generation systems.

La capacità di usare correttamente sistemi per la generazione del testo in lingua italiana sarà valutata attraverso l’uso dei sistemi stessi.
The ability to use Italian language text generation systems correctly will be assessed through the use of the systems themselves.
Solo i prerequisiti richiesti dal Corso di Laurea, che includono almeno 12 crediti precedenti nei settori L-FIL-LET/12 (Linguistica italiana) o L-LIN/01 (Glottologia e Linguistica). Si consiglia comunque una buona conoscenza della Linguistica italiana e in particolare di elementi di sociolinguistica.
Only the prerequisites required by the degree course, which include at least 12 previous credits in the fields L-FIL-LET/12 (Italian Linguistics) or L-LIN/01 (Glottology and Linguistics). However, a good knowledge of Italian Linguistics and in particular of elements of sociolinguistics is recommended.
Può essere utile (ma non è obbligatorio) seguire, in parallelo al corso, altri corsi di linguistica o di intelligenza artificiale.
It may be useful (but it is not mandatory) to take other courses in linguistics or artificial intelligence in parallel with the course.
Il corso non costituisce un prerequisito per studi successivi. Tuttavia, le competenze acquisite possono essere utili in diversi contesti di studio.
The course does not constitute a prerequisite for further studies. However, the skills acquired are useful in various types of courses.
Il corso alternerà nozioni teoriche ad attività pratiche di contestualizzazione. Lo svolgimento sarà quanto più possibile in forma di laboratorio, con impostazione costruttivista.

The course will alternate theoretical notions with practical contextualisation activities. The course will be conducted as much as possible in laboratory form, with a constructivist approach.
