Il corso mira a far conoscere agli studenti il contesto storico-letterario in cui si collocano le opere in programma (Ottocento), gli autori presentati e le proposte critiche in programma.
The course aims to introduce students to the historical-literary context in which the works in the program (19th century), the authors presented and the critical proposals in the program are placed.
Saranno svolte esercitazioni e prove in itinere scritte e orali
Written and oral exercises and tests will be carried out
Avrà acquisito competenze nell’analisi linguistica, stilistica, tematica e narratologica del testo, oltre alla capacità di far interagire testo e contesto sapendo creare anche collegamenti interdisciplinari.

Le lingue utilizzate nel corso saranno l'italiano e lo spagnolo. Le lezioni frontali (erogate, secondo necessità, con l'aiuto di powerpoint, interventi seminariali di esterni ecc.) si alterneranno a momenti di dibattito, di esercitazione collettiva, di prove intermedie di verifica.
The languages used in the course will be Italian and Spanish. The lectures (delivered, as needed, with the help of powerpoints, external seminars, etc.) will alternate with moments of debate, collective exercises, intermediate tests.
La poesia romantica tra spirito libertario e mal del siglo
Il corso prende in esame la prima metà del XIX secolo illustrando l’introduzione e l’affermazione della nuova estetica romantica in una prospettiva comparatistica che evidenzi le specificità nazionali e le affinità transnazionali. Il corso si focalizza sul discorso poetico, lirico e filosofico, che viene esemplificato attraverso tre figure di spicco del panorama poetico romantico: José de Espronceda (1808-1842), Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda (1814-1873) e Carolina Coronado (1820-1911).
Romantic poetry between libertarian spirit and mal del siglo
The course examines the first half of the 19th century illustrating the introduction and affirmation of the new romantic aesthetics in a comparative perspective that highlights national specificities and transnational affinities. The course focuses on poetic, lyrical and philosophical discourse, which is exemplified through three leading figures of the Romantic poetic panorama: José de Espronceda (1808-1842), Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda (1814-1873) and Carolina Coronado (1820-1911 ).
