The student who successfully completes the course will know the following topics:
 The discrete symmetries CPT in Elementary particles and the conservation laws.
 The first particle physics experiments that detected symmetry violations of Parity P,Charge Conjugation C and their product CP.
 Elementary weak interactions and an introduction to neutrino oscillations.
 Hadronic physics measurements at e+e Colliders.
 The discovery of quark c and elementary QCD model.
 In the written exam (3 hours, 2 exercises each with 3 or 4 questions), the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material, its capability to organize an effective and correctly written reply.  With his/her oral presentation to the teachers, the student must demonstrate the ability to approach a circumscribed research problem, and organize an effective exposition of the results.
