Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of the methods used to investigate reliability and validity of psychological tests. Moreover, he/she will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the multivariate techniques and of the non-parametric statistical tests of data analysis frequently used in psychology. Finally, he/she will be able to correctly use softwares of data analysis.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical awareness, the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course.

Syllabus
The course covers notions on planning research in the field of psychosicial studies focusing on themes related to healt and wellbeing in communities and organizational context.
Attention will be also paid on introduttive notions on data analyses: reliability, criteria and construct validity tests. In addiction, attention will be devoted to themes such as regression and factorial analysis.
A part of the course will be dedicated to the presenting principal softwares for data analyses.
