Knowledge
Knowing the main items on the clinical management of the patient in good health or suffering from dental disease, to apply the principles of cross infection and infection risk. Motivating the adult patient and child and instruct them to correct manoeuvers through the use of appropriate home health aids
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be able to communicate properly with the patient in
order to achieve the highest compliance, the student will have the
ability to prevent cross infection and infection's risk in the dentistry ambulatory.

Syllabus
Application of the principles of cross infections’ prevention and the infection’s risk; the tools and procedures of disinfections, tools and procedures of sterilization. Dentistry ambulatory management. Application of the principles of primary preventive dentistry, interventions in order to implement individual and collective motivation and education and create health education programs thought for population groups.
Application of fissure sealing and fluoride prophylaxis. Perform sealing of pits and dimples. Perform treatments for the removal of pigmentation by extrinsic tooth polishing and whitening performed by different methods and technologies.
